This six-week journey will lead you toward competence in federal grant writing. Learn the content, practice the skills learned, and return the following week with questions to anchor your learning. Our goal is for every single participant to leave this course feeling more confident in their ability to find, vet, and apply for federal funding opportunities.

What You’ll Learn
Participants will graduate from the course with the knowledge and skills to identify federal funding opportunities that fit their organization, plan and facilitate internal teams to prepare strong responses, and confidently submit proposals. They will create template responses for common federal application narrative sections to aid in future federal grant seeking. Additionally, participants will receive example responses, tools, and decision matrices to guide federal grant-seeking in their organization.
After the course has concluded, participants will be invited to once-a-month group coaching calls on Zoom to discuss any challenges they are facing, review key topics, and ask questions of the instructor. These are optional calls designed to reinforce participant learning. No new content will be delivered. Monthly calls will take place from November 2024 to February 2025.

Session 1: Federal Grants 101 – August 28, 2024
Session 2: Prepare to Submit – September 4, 2024
Session 3: Narrative & Program Design – September 11, 2024
Session 4: Budgets – September 18, 2024
Session 5: Compliance – September 25, 2024
Session 6: Grant Reviews – October 2, 2024
Each session will take place from 9:00am-12:00pm. Location details to be provided and will take place in St. Louis. A light breakfast and snacks are provided with paid registration. Additional details will be shared before Session 1.
Pricing
We offer an individual or an organization registration for Federal Grants Boot Camp. For the organization registration, one person MUST attend all six sessions. The other two spots may be filled by rotating staff. Organizational sign-ups are available to individual nonprofit organizations, but not parent organizations, groups of nonprofits, or consulting firms.
